Amanda Elizabeth Righetti has worked as an American actress since 1999. She is most famous for playing CBS show The Mentalist's special agent Grace Van Pelt. Righetti is an Utah born native, has always dreamed of being the next performer. At the age of 4, she got into dancing. The year 1995 saw her big screen debut with the film Love and Happiness. The actress made her debut on the smaller screen by appearing as a guest star in CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Righetti began her acting career as a model at 14 years old. The following year, she relocated to Los Angeles and continued to portray small yet significant parts until she was offered the role as the recurring character Hailey Nichol in Foxs teen drama The O.C.. Righetti also had important roles on the 2009 horror movie Friday 13th, the action film Captain America: The First Avenger Foxs soap-opera North Shore and the drama series Reunion. From 2008 to 2015 she appeared as Grace Van Pelt in The Mentalist earning critical praise for her role. Righetti has been recently cast as Madeline Kenner by USA Networks on the sci-fi show Colony.
