Kolber was born in Pennsylvania graduated with a master's degree at University of Miami. She began her professional career with CBS Sports New York City in the role of video coordinator. She earned a local Sports Emmy during her tenure with WTVJ-TV in Miami. She was also employed by WPLG-TV in Miami as well as WPEC-TV located in West Palm Beach, Florida. She joined ESPN in 1993 and became one of the anchors on ESPN2 that was established. Her employment with ESPN2 was for three years. She then moved on to Fox Sports. Then, in 1999, she returned to ESPN and serves as the host of "Monday Night Countdown".
