Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and competes with the UFC flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko, a former UFC Flyweight titleholder, and UFC friend of hers is her elder sister. Antonina Shevchenko, who is a Muay Thai Kickboxer began her fight sports career at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko stopped her involvement in MMA to focus on boxing. She returned against Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa with a unanimous win. She went on to defeat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. In 2018, she left the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina demonstrated her power of striking by tying Nievera using knees. Antonina Shevchenko received an UFC contract following this win. Antonina received an UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi in a unanimous decision. However, she then was unable to win her next bout due to a split verdict. Antonina bounced off the loss and fought Lucie Prudilova's battle in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler with a rear naked choke submission. This was by far the most exciting fight of the night in this fight. Shevchenko was 1-2 over the next three fights. She beat Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina suffered a loss to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO during UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
